Digital Security Training for HRW Staff

Brief Summary

Human Rights Watch defends the rights of people worldwide. They’d like to make sure they’re up to date on the latest advances in digital security.

Problem

HRW scrupulously investigates rights abuses, expose the facts widely, and pressure those with power to respect rights and secure justice. The state of security and surveillance is rapidly changing so HRW needs to continually stay up to date given the work they do.

Goal

HRW researchers would like to make sure they’re up to date on the best use of encryption, messaging, data storage, and secure transfer of information. They’d like someone to train their staff on the best strategies to protect their information from third party surveillance and current cross border searches.
